Replacement for Canon S2 IS?30 Dec 2005 14:04 GMT6
I have the S1 IS and would love to upgrade to the S2, but I still
haven't found it for less than $416 anywhere. Do you know if Canon
will be replacing the S2 with a newer model anytime soon? If so, I may
just wait until then so the price of the S2 drops.

Additional Flash power30 Dec 2005 13:23 GMT1
I have been using my A2 for nearly 18 months and have been very
satisfied with the quality of the pix, as well as the flexibility.  One
problem, though, is the flash unit.  The coverage area is exceptionally
small, and, unless I'm not using the flash correctly, does not improve

Slow folder opening30 Dec 2005 07:21 GMT6
Recently my WinXP Home PC has become very slow to open new My Computer
windows. Typically, I'll Shift (or Ctrl) left click a folder of JPGs
to go up one in the tree, and it might be 5-15 seconds before the
thumbnails appear.

2nd opinion on my chosen digital camera please30 Dec 2005 02:16 GMT1
I've earned myself £300-400 (I'm in the UK) to spend on a new digital
camera to replace my current one. I decided what was important to me and
after a long trawl through magazines and countless websites over xmas I
decided upon a Sony DSC-V3 (a 7MP 'prosumer' model). My criteria ...

Nikon PictureProject Renames JPG Create Date After Transfer29 Dec 2005 23:47 GMT6
I have two cameras, the Nikon D70 and Coolpix P2. When I transfer
images from the D70 to my PC using PictureProject v1.6 (formerly used
v1.0), the images creation date will *not* be renamed to the date that
the transfer occurred. However, when I transfer images or movies with

Canon Powershot Problem29 Dec 2005 21:40 GMT5
I have a Canon Powershot A70. I used it for two years without problems. But
just since last week, my Canon Powershot A70 adds red horizontal lines to
all recorded images. I reformatted the memory and reset the camera without
success.

PIXMANTEC - No. 1 idiot spammer for 2006?29 Dec 2005 20:49 GMT2
Gee, another new version and just another $79.00 to upgrade?  And they send
the email saying you can try the 15-day trial but only give you four days to
buy before the deadline. I know a lot of people are quite please but the
constant emails and the lame wording in their emails ...
