Canon A620 controls12 Dec 2005 16:06 GMT1

impressed by the lens.Very fast to start up. The screen is better than a80s
but would have been better 1.8 with same resolution. It is much stiffer than
the a80 though and thinner. The camera fits ok in ...

Lumix DMC-FZ30 - what SD card would you recommend?12 Dec 2005 10:03 GMT1
about to purchase the DMC-FZ30, I wonder which SD card to choose. From
the specs, it says 2 GB would be the suitable max. So would you go for
a 2 GB card or would you prefer to have two 1 GB cards instead? Which
brands/makes? I plan to record movs quite frequently - should that

Carry-on or checked?12 Dec 2005 04:46 GMT144
When going on a public airline, do you carefully pack your dSLR in your
checked baggage, or do you try to get it into the carry-on?
Thanks.
Hyperfocal distance12 Dec 2005 01:57 GMT29
Guys
I am practicing up for an upcoming wedding shoot and have been looking at
the issue of hyperfocal distances for some of the after ceremony shindig.
I downloaded a program called Depth of Field 3 as it can work on my PDA.

I've browsed archives, I've read DPReview and PhotographyReview as well and
still can't make up my mind.
I usually take photos outdoors, focusing on architecture and landscapes.
Mainly. I have Canon 300V (Rebel TI?) with 28-90 KIT and 75-300 III USM and

Downloading photos from a camera chip11 Dec 2005 20:39 GMT5
Can anyone tell me how to save a photo mistakenly taken in the movie
mode on my digital camera, as a still photo to My Pictures on my
computer.   I can right-click on copy, but the "paste" window is grey,
not allowing me to copy the still photo.  Of course I can copy the

old. The camera works fine for me except when I take photos of dance
shows indoors (or similar subjects). The stage is usually not well
lighted and sometimes is lighted with color ligts. I have tried with
Photoshop Elements vs. CS11 Dec 2005 16:19 GMT12
What can the full version of photoshop do that Elements can't, and why
would I want to do them?  Is it worth the extra few hundred dollars?
I realize CS is the "standard" and "professional," but what's it got

Ilford Paper11 Dec 2005 16:00 GMT22

returned the printer except that futershaft does not allow ...
