| spot metering sony cybershot | 19 Dec 2005 16:50 GMT | 2 |
How is spot metering supposed to be used? Isn't it mostly for close-up scenes? My first camera with this gizmo. (I get a blurry pic with long distance scenes. I suspect it is not supposed to be used for "landscape" type scenes.)

| Comments on Canon prime lens | 19 Dec 2005 08:57 GMT | 18 |
I am thinking of getting the 50mm f1.4 USM Lens for my Digital Rebel XT rather than the kit lens: I am interested in image quality, colour accuracy, minimal distortion. How does this lens compare with the cheaper f1.8?
