Paint Shop Pro X (v.10) RAW import problem20 Dec 2005 05:13 GMT6
I took a lovely photo of sunrise this morning in RAW format 8Mb, and I have
WinXP and Microsoft RAW image viewer. If I preview in RAW image viewer the
colours look lovely and red/orange like in the camera preview screen but if
I open image in PSPX then the deep red (saturated) ...
Who else allows single photo prints?20 Dec 2005 04:38 GMT10
I was using winkflash.com for single photo prints.  However, they have
removed the ability to upload photos and don't answer any emails so
there is no way to contact them.
Does any one know of a service that allows you to upload your digital
Low light P&S camera20 Dec 2005 02:27 GMT5
What I mean by that is, a P&S with a sensor using pixels of the size
of those in a DSLR but with a lower resolution.  Low noise, but you
sacrifice resolution for cost savings.  Or would that make too much
sense?  AFAIK, only the Fuji F10/11 offers high ISO speed and
Canon A40 Overexposed20 Dec 2005 00:38 GMT4
I bought my wife a Canon A40 two years ago and she loves it. I really
have not paid much attention to it other than have her take pictures
when I need a digital one. This year I decided that it was finally time
to leave my trusty A1 home when we went on vacation.
question: D70s19 Dec 2005 22:45 GMT10
I just recently bought a Nikon D70s. And have a few questions on it.
First, right above the battery charger bar in the upper left hand corner
of the top screen, it says ISO AUTO, and keeps blinking when I attempt
to push the button down to take a picture.
UK supply of Canon 70-200 f4 L lens19 Dec 2005 21:13 GMT22

Can't source one anywhere.
Thanks.
20D - BP-511 and CF cards19 Dec 2005 20:32 GMT13
My new Canon 20D just got delivered. Ya HOOOOO!!!!
I am planning on picking up a couple CF cards and a spare battery. I
expect I will pick up 2, 1 gig cards or a 2 gig and a 512 spare.
I did a web search on battery and the info below came up. Are
Rebel XT or 20D?19 Dec 2005 20:15 GMT10
I'm trying to decide between these two. The extra money's not a big
factor. I'm leaning toward the Rebel because it's smaller and lighter
... seems to feel better in my hands.
I'm an experienced (film) SLR user so the 20D would normally seem
NEF Files19 Dec 2005 19:07 GMT6
Does anyone know why NEF files made with a Coolpix 5400 camera would be
almost twice as large as NEF file made with a D50, 5mp camera?  I'm thinking
it could be because of the smaller sensor and extra processing needed to
create such a large image.
Staples Christmas commercial19 Dec 2005 18:52 GMT19
Has anyone seen the Staples Christmas commercial for the digital
cameras? The one where they are hand carving the digital cameras?
I think it was a pretty clever commercial.

Choosing new camera - Fuji problems19 Dec 2005 18:47 GMT2
I am looking for a new camera to replace my (crap) Aldi Traveler DC6300
(basically Toshiba). I just can't decide between the Canon A620 and Fuji
Finepix F10/11. The BIG problem with the Finepix F10/11 is purple fringing -
looking at example pictures from Steve's Digicams this is ...
Resolving a loooong, long term controversy Neekon versus Naykon :-)19 Dec 2005 18:42 GMT13
Well, listen to the video and remember the sound of it:
Neeeeeeeeeekon  is the name of the game!

Need help finding Kodak printer dock...19 Dec 2005 16:52 GMT22
My parents have a Kodak DX-4300 camera we got them a couple years ago.
Not being overly technological people, they take a few pictures with it,
but don't do much with them after that (except maybe bring the camera to
me and get me to print the pics).  For Christmas, we'd like to ...
