I somehow managed to plug the 6pin end of the firewire cable backwards
into my computer firewire port (angle end into flat end) and now my
Sony DCR-PC100 camera's firewire doesn't work anymore.  I looked at a
cable pinout diagram of the firewire cable and it looks like the 30volt

I was checking out a shopping mall portrait studio, and I was very
surprised to hear that they use Olympus and that they charge $99
per RAW/jpeg file (they 'renounce the copyright' for the files
they sell).

Hi, is there a way i can trigger a seprate flash device that is located off
to the side of my camera? if so what parts would i need to addapt it to my

kodak v550 model(MPEG4) has movie length of 14 min with 512 MB card.
wherein z7590(VGA) takes 6.34 min with 128MB card.
why v550 allows so little movie length even though it has MPEG4 format
support?

This is just a quick heads up for any of you thinking of buying a Microdrive
for your 300D.
Microdrives are cheaper than compact flash when compared like for like but
this has to be balanced against possible compatibility issues with
