I'm looking to purchase a new digital camera (today!).
My home computer has USB 2.0 ports. Are these compatible with the USB
ports on most digital cameras? Are the USB ports on the cameras 1.0?
2.0? Is the plug/jack the same for both USB versions?

Are there any sold for 1000 US$ or less, everything ive Googled is
around 10,000 US.
Is there any way to convert cheap digitals for thermal imaging. I know
some people remove the factory filter for IR photography, but it is not

I'm trying to get the LowePro Linx 320 Backpack, and the only company

What does the ``sharpness'' do on my Sony DSC-P93?
I think it has undesireable effects on a black dog against snow but
am not sure what's going on.

I have a Canon Powershot A510 and really like it.  However, I can't

Owners might like to know that firmware Version 1.0.3 has been available
on the Canon support site since Tuesday.  Apparently it fixes a bug that
caused 1.7Gb files to be generated, brightens the LCD monitor, fixes a
bug in the auto exposure bracketing when shutter times greater ...

My 10D has suddenly started underexposing pictures taken in Shutter/Aperture
priority mode - nothing I do seems to solve the problem, and I am forced to
shoot in Manual mode all the time - which still works fine. That's not a
huge problem, as I actually prefer Manual in many ...

I have a Olympus 5060 + FL36 external flash if needed and nearly all my
shots are street scenes, buildings, landscapes and internal rooms. Never
people and the weather anything from drizzle to sunny but must take the shot
whatever the weather conditions.

How would you use studio lighting and how do you sync them? Do I need a
hot shoe adaptor the same way as my regular film cameras?
