I contacted this group about a month ago asking for advice on buying a
digital camera. Well, after a bit of research using dpreview almost
exclusively I think I have narrowed it down to two cameras. I am

My new Canon 5D has all sorts of crap floating around in the viewfinder
- luckily none of it shows up on the final picture.

Which brands of non-SLRs are best against dust, sand, and moisture,
without the use of an underwater enclosure?  I don't plan to expose any
camera to the elements but just want to know what's most likely to

I sell electronic products and cloths. Most buyers require photos. I use a
Canon 2M IXUS. The pictures can not show any details of the products. Maybe
because my hands are shaking, or maybe I need a better Camera.

Does any one know if Minolta has any web based support? I have a new
5400 scanner that my computers can not detect. The software is
installed correctly and I changed cables, tried to different computers,
but still no luck.

Using Picassa2 to adjust, catalogue, and print from;  unfortunately cuts the
top of the photo when printing, and I can't adjust the crop to fix this

I've taken photos for many years, owned dozens of cameras, and read lots of
books, but have always wondered about, and never found a good explanation on
how to take a photo so the resulting print image is exactly true life size.
What camera settings do I need, or auxiliary aids, ...

Ended up buying from a old time camera shop a few miles away from home.
His price was the going rate that the responsible online stores were selling
the 20D for so I stuck to buying local and saving the shipping cost.
