I am thinking about buying a Kodak, model c315, for some family.  I
have never owned a Kodak though I am familiar with others and I don't
completely understand the function of a dock.  I've read you use it to
transfer your photos and recharge your battery.  I want to think you

This web site describes my identical problem and solution except that it is
for a camera I do not have, therefore, it is of no use other than explaining
my problem.  I have two digital cameras and I don't care which one I get

SD card gone kaput? Help?24 Nov 2005 19:34 GMT7
I've got a SanDisk 512 SD card, and I just got a Nikon D50 DSLR camera.
I took it out about 10 days ago and took 200 pics, some of them
actually GOOD. Took the SD card out, and with a
USB-based-SD-card-reader I look at 'em and showed 'em around and so on.

Talkphotos ?24 Nov 2005 14:51 GMT1
TalkPhotos.com forums seemed quite lively back last August.  e.g. masses of
speculation about the then just announced Canon 5D, but hardly anything once
the camera was available and in use.   Now it seems to have gone largely to
sleep, and guests can no longer post - anyone know ...

I've just upgraded from a Canon 300d to 350d and am generally happy about
the switch.
However I think the LCD screen might be defective on my new camera.
When looking at the screen square on everything looks fine but if I'm

Battery Pack for Canon Powershot S8024 Nov 2005 04:58 GMT6
I recently purchased an S80 and would like a second battery pack.  I've
found the online prices for OEM batteries to be in the $50 range.  There are
a plethora of non-OEM batteries available for much less.  Is there a risk of
damaging my new camera with one of these less costly ...

I just took a bunch of photos using our new sony dsc-p200 cybershot
digital camera.  I was in a school clasroom with flourescent lighting
taking photos of my sons thanksgiving day show.  It was really cute but
the photos I took came out pretty poorly.  Many of them are very dark
ACDSee 8 issue24 Nov 2005 02:21 GMT1
I'm trying out ACDSee 8 to organize photos, but when I load new photos
onto the PC, they don't show up in the database until I manually run
"catalog files" or open each file folder individually. Isn't there a
way to automate this?
