I am considering getting a Canon Powershot A520 as my first digital camera.
Is this camera as good as the reviews I see on the internet, or are there

So... I've been seriously considering the Digital Rebel XT for the
longest time, but do I really need the hassle of carrying around a
couple extra lenses?  So I decided to go with a digital camera with
(hopefully) comparable features.

1.  White balance for compact fluorescent lighting:  I have found that the
tungsten setting looks most realistic, but still slightly off.  Is there a
