Avi editing02 Nov 2005 20:19 GMT2
What would be the best no-nonsens AVI editor for a native Finepix camera avi
format.
I have already downloaded something called Blaze Media Pro, but saving my
file in the right format, codec, compression or else is a nightmare. I only

Canon 20D and EOSViewer02 Nov 2005 19:54 GMT3
I understand that when taking RAW pictures with the Canon 20D, and indeed
any other camera, that the camera settings for white balance, etc, are
appended to the metadata when the file is saved without affecting the RAW
file itself.
Apple Aperture02 Nov 2005 19:20 GMT17
Anybody used this yet? I am curious whether it allows you to keep your
current file structure, or if it does something weird like iPhoto.
Nikon Coolpix S402 Nov 2005 18:55 GMT1
Did anyone come across this camera? Seems to perfectly combine compact
format and high optical zoom.
What is on the downside?
Thank you.
Recovering Older Backup Photos02 Nov 2005 18:45 GMT4
Hi, everyone -- My first post here, but I've enjoyed reading and
learning a lot from lurking for a few days.
Here's my dilemma:  a few years ago, I thought I was doing the RIGHT
thing by backing up hundreds of photos from my "getting older everyday"
Coolpix 990 Failure Modes?02 Nov 2005 18:30 GMT3
Anyone know of any webpage/site/group that is accumulating wisdom
regarding Coolpix failures? My 990 is now beginning to go wacky and I'd

require Nikon service. Professional repair is hardly an option for a
DSLR and film camera lenses02 Nov 2005 18:03 GMT8
I'm considering a Nikon D70 and wondering if my lenses for F-801 (N
8008) and FM2 are compatible with the Nikon DSLR?

Plus and minuses of Henry's02 Nov 2005 17:59 GMT8
I plan to buy a Rebel XT (CDN999) with a goodies package (tripod, CF
card et.) and would like to know what experiences folks have had with
Henry's, which I believe is a Canadian company.

Nikon D20002 Nov 2005 14:22 GMT17
Has anybody said anything about projected street price and about
projected availability? Have just been thinking about trading my D100
for a D70s, but would rather go to the D200 when available.
MicroDrive/FinePix S602 compatibility02 Nov 2005 13:46 GMT1
I've seen a Magicstor 2.2GB MicroDrive at a decent price. Will this work
in a FinePix S602 and, if it will, at what kind of speed compared with a
standard CF card?
THE FABULOUS EOS-1V FLIES AGAIN !!!02 Nov 2005 13:34 GMT6
I took the Fabulous EOS-1V out of the drawer last week, shook some of
the dust off of it, loaded her up with some Astia and the big glass,
and got this shot during a wedding reception.

Nikon's D200 posted, and removed... D200, $1699 how about that...02 Nov 2005 13:05 GMT33
Someone made some screen dumps before the "leak" was removed again.
Welcome to the "sandbox"...

If the price is true, EOS-5D will have to go down in price,
