I understand that when taking RAW pictures with the Canon 20D, and indeed
any other camera, that the camera settings for white balance, etc, are
appended to the metadata when the file is saved without affecting the RAW
file itself.

Anybody used this yet? I am curious whether it allows you to keep your
current file structure, or if it does something weird like iPhoto.

Did anyone come across this camera? Seems to perfectly combine compact
format and high optical zoom.
What is on the downside?

Has anybody said anything about projected street price and about
