Image file naming strategy.04 Nov 2005 06:49 GMT8
Hello, all:
I have yet one more question for the group and it refers to the naming
protocol each of you use for naming your digital image files.
My Canon camera assigns a different name to each image file when set to

refurbished ones directly to consumers?  Thanks
Dsc W7 and portability04 Nov 2005 03:58 GMT1
Recently purchased a W7 and extremely pleased.  Was coming from a DSC
S85 my first digital.  The 85 is (was) an a tremendously rugged camera
I found despite press to the contrary.  Carried it on many a trip and
for the most part in the bottom of an unpadded a fanny pack.  Took ...

Dont usually see posts about cheap digital cameras in

1/200 sec flash x-sync on 5D04 Nov 2005 02:36 GMT34
I am about to purchased a DSLR camera and some high quality lenses. I am
seriously considering Canon EOS 5D because it offers most of the features I
need for studio/portraiture photography. However, the 1/200 sec x-sync (vs.
1/250 on 20D and 1D series cameras) concerns me. I have ...

Adjusting Zoom During Exposure03 Nov 2005 23:05 GMT11
Does anyone know of any digital camera (non-slr) that allows you to adjust
the zoom during an exposure?
I would have assumed that any DC with a manual zoom ring would allow you to
do so, but I phoned up Fuji and asked the support agent, and he had a camera
need help with 20d and 580ex03 Nov 2005 23:00 GMT12
When I use wide angle lenses I get vignetting with my 20d and 580ex
flash. Although it should work down to about 15mm without using the
wide panel on the flash(24/1.6), I have to use the wide panel all the
time with the ef-s 10-22 lens.

Hi all, need some opinions,
My Oly C-700UZ offers three formats (actually four, but the little one
doesn't matter here), TIFF, SHQ (which I assume means Super High
Quality), and HQ.
