Looing for a "low light" camera07 Nov 2005 21:35 GMT4
I've been shooting for some time with a Nikon D2X and D70. Under
optimal conditions the image quality is excellent - problem is that
rarely are the conditions optimal - especially wedding photography in a
church.

I wish to purchase a digital camera. The final prints will be in black and
white and be 11x14 (approximately) and museum quality prints (archival inks
on an epson printer).  What size of megapixel camera should I purchase?  How
do you figure that out?

A-DEP mode on Canon EOS07 Nov 2005 07:43 GMT7
Have had my 350D for several months now and all is going well, but the only
function that I have not figured out how to use is the A-DEP mode.  After
several RTFM attempts I still cannot figure it out and I'm sure its a very
useful tool for group shots and landscapes.

D70 with Nikon 80-200mm F2.807 Nov 2005 03:11 GMT16
I have a D70 with a variety of lenses of which my favorite is the 80-200
mm f2.8.  I had a mind to upgrade it to the twin collar version for the
tripod mount and the faster focusing.
I've bid on several on Ebay, but not been successful - there is one
Advice for Fuji Finepix 500e user.07 Nov 2005 03:04 GMT2
I tried to take some outdoor photos at dusk. They were just shots of my sons
outside a small tent, about 8 feet away. I just set the camera to auto,
thinking this would adjust to suit the light. The picture came out blurred.
Other shots in darker conditions came out the same. I used ...
Taking pics of white cats07 Nov 2005 02:39 GMT15
I have a very fluffy and VERY white Persian.
Outdoor pics of my cat with Coolpix 5700 are pretty good.
Indoor pics with the built-in flash always show the cat very
over-exposed (all solid white except the eyes).
CS2 Plug-ins For Christmas Gift?07 Nov 2005 02:02 GMT7
I use PS CS2 as a hobby but I do not have any commercial plug-ins.  My wife
would like to buy me a couple of these as Christmas gifts but she needs me
to tell her what I would like.  I'm thinking about the "Noise Ninja Pro
Bundle" and "Genuine Fractals, full version 4.1".  I ...
