Stacey, I liked very much your pics, especially the ir_park.jpg.
Care to tell how you got that effect?  Almost looks like infrared.
Seems it may have been a colour pic, red filter then rendered to B&W.
What equipment do you use and what about the exposure?
Fast Point & Shoot10 Nov 2005 00:19 GMT12
I currently have a Kodak DX4330.  While it takes nice pictures, it has become more annoying to me than anything.  In order to get a clear picture, I have to half-press the snap button, give it time to focus, then push the button all the way to snap the picture

parts for digital cameras09 Nov 2005 23:30 GMT5
Anyone know where to get parts for digital cameras? Not accessories.
Looking for internal connectors, electronics, motors, and components.
Preferrable for Canon EOS series of cameras, such as D30, Digital
Rebel, etc. But information for other manufacturers are also greatly
6 Megapixels vs 809 Nov 2005 23:17 GMT55
I went and looked at the Nikon D50 and the Canon Rebel XT. The view
finder ont he Nikon was better. On the Nikon I could tell if the picture
was in focus easier and it took more care to manually focus with the
Canon (at first I thought I couldn't focus it all, but it turned out
Sony DSC-W709 Nov 2005 21:06 GMT2
I am thinking of buying a Sony DSC-W7 camera. I am looking for a little feedback from people who own one. Thanks in
advance.

Fuji 500e09 Nov 2005 20:49 GMT3
I tried to take some outdoor photos at dusk. They were just shots of my sons
outside a small tent, about 8 feet away. I just set the camera to auto,
thinking this would adjust to suit the light. The picture came out blurred.
Other shots in darker conditions came out the same. I used ...

If you only had one backdrop whhat would you choose?09 Nov 2005 18:41 GMT8
I am going to buy a backdrop but cannot decide which would be the most
versatile.
Where to get ACDSee 7.009 Nov 2005 18:29 GMT3
I have a valid license of ACDSee 7 but my computer crashed and I do not
have a copy of the software to reinstall it. Where can I get the software
again?
Best dpi to scan for photos09 Nov 2005 18:25 GMT9
I'm making a photo book and am scanning in my old film 3x5 and 4x6
photo collection. I just realized the scanner was set to 300 dpi. They
look fine in Photoshop Elements. Will they print fine as 3x5 and 4x6
pictures in a photo book?
FE-120 versus Optio 6009 Nov 2005 17:38 GMT2
I guess I'm not the onlyone asking this question. Does any one have
real experience about those cameras? I hate Pentax USB 1.0 interface
and also that FE-120 doesn't record sound.
Those are the drawbacks of these camers. Which one would be better
Kodak P 85009 Nov 2005 16:47 GMT1
I haven't seen any comprehensive reviews, so I'm turning to the group to see
if anyone has any comments on the Kodak P850? I like the bang for the buck
that Kodak gives you and am looking to upgrade my DX 6490. The DX6490 has
been very reliable and capable of good photos, but the AF ...
B&H and Adorama Closed!09 Nov 2005 16:27 GMT590
I'm just back from a trip to New York City where high on my agenda was a
visit to B&H to buy a Canon lens. Off I went one morning only to find the
store closed for the week. No word of explanation. No matter, there was
always Adorama. So I hightailed it down to West 18th Street ...
Leaf in Flight09 Nov 2005 16:13 GMT51
One thing digital cameras have done is make scattershot techniques
work, eg. take 200 pics of where a leaf might fall, panning at the
rate it would likely fall at in the wind, and you get one or two
that are decent when a leaf happens to be there going in the right
