This is not specifically about digital photography per se, but as I have a
Nikon D70 I might as well ask here as anywhere.
I've been asked if I can take a photograph of an oil or acrylic painting
that is mounted and framed behind glass, in order to print a copy of it.  

This looks like the best camera available at this price range, although I'm
sure many people are put off by the interpolated 12mp feature...   but my
only concern is the lack of a focus assist light.  I'm just looking for
comments from owners of this camera, to see if this ends ...
