| How do you do those two tone pics? | 14 Nov 2005 16:15 GMT | 2 |
I've done some of those B/W pics with a colorful dress, or my daughters eyes but I do it by selecting the area, cutting it out and dropping it back into the photo after I convert it to B/W, is there an easier way? I use Paint Ship Pro X,

| Help, please - printing tools ? | 14 Nov 2005 15:58 GMT | 4 |
I am looking for a freeware that would allow me to select 3 files to print, designate them as 4 x 6 prints, lay them out to fit on a 8.5 x 11 sheet, and control the amount of crop. Windows XP does the first two but doesn't allow to control the amount of crop. I use Gimp to edit

I wanted to look at getting some sort of adapter to fit my telescope (Meade ETX90) to my new digital camera (Sony P200). But the camera closes the lens after about a minute of inactivity , which would be a bad thing if there was an adapter screwed to it !

| Large Prints and PPI | 14 Nov 2005 09:55 GMT | 5 |
I'd like to get your perspective. I'm printing larger (12"X11") photos on an Epson R1800. My DPI selection on the printer is "Best Photo" which I believe is 1800 dpi. Some of the photos I want to print at this size I have cropped quite a bit and the resulting images are at 60-70

| Tips wanted for Image Bird photo organizer software | 14 Nov 2005 09:31 GMT | 2 |
Three months ago I started using Image Bird(v2005) from IMOK-Software and so far it has been a great help for me. Organizing my photos went rather fast. But now I was wondering if someone has any tips on the software. Creating labels is easy but is it possible to create more

| Digital wishlist | 14 Nov 2005 06:17 GMT | 18 |
The progress of digital photography has been amazing to me over the last few years. There are, however, improvements that I wish for. I'm sure most of them will be realized in a few years: 1) Full frame 13-16 MP DSLR - under $1,000!

I have 3 Nikon speedlights, an 800 and two 600s. Is it possible to use the SB-800 as a remote master when it's not on a camera body? For example stand mount all three lights, trigger the 800 via a pocket wizard, and then have the 800 trigger the 2 600s via

I've just purchased an HP scanner that scans 35 mm negatives. However, I have a large number of larger format negatives (50 to 70 years old) that I'd like to scan. Is anyone aware of a reasonably priced piece of equipment that would be suitable?
