According to Thom Hogan (www.bythom.com) the D200 uses a new EN-EL3e battery and old EN-EL3's won't work. D70/D100 owners with multiple EN-EL3's are delighted to hear that, I'm sure. Looks like the proprietary battery runaround is not slowing down. The new battery

| A factory "rebuild" question | 15 Nov 2005 02:52 GMT | 7 |
Many years ago I read about factory re-built small home appliances as being a real bargain as they were tested much more thoroughly than regular production models. This has saved me a lot of money on vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, power washers, etc. over the years. They have ...

Mrs. Claus has asked me what I want for my new DLSR & lens combination. I'm not sure what to tell her and the opinions of others would be appreciated. My dilemma involves the trade-off between the lens cost and camera body cost. I know that conventional wisdom says to put the ...

I have been using a Canon 300d for the last 10 months and don't have any issues with it. However I now have the chance to change it to a 350d for about an extra £100 odd . I have looked at the DP review site and they both seem pretty equal in
