CR123A lithium Battery shelf life question15 Nov 2005 16:27 GMT5
A couple of years ago I bought several 123 batteries and never used them.
Now I find that some of them have developed high internal resistance. My
camera, an Olympus Stylus, will show either low battery or not turn on at
all.
Let me rephrase my question..15 Nov 2005 16:17 GMT2
I'm looking for a lightweight camera that does portrait well and could be
used in video conferencing, if that's possible and won't disappoint on
vacation/landscape pictures.
Thanks
Vignetting on 'full frame' sensors vs. 35mm film test?15 Nov 2005 15:41 GMT7
Folks,
Has anyone ever tried doing an apples to apples vignetting comparison
between a full frame DSLR (e.g. 5D) vs. a 35mm film SLR? Specifically,
using the same lens on both cameras shooting an evenly lit white or
Technique to layer multiple exposures of an image15 Nov 2005 15:24 GMT3
Hi everyone, I hope this is an appropriate forum.
I have heard about a technique where multiple exposures are taken of a
scene, at different shutter speeds and apertures, and then layered into
one image using photoshop. This would be to get earth and sky in a

Nikon Field Guide15 Nov 2005 14:01 GMT4
Sorry if this sounds like an add but I think it's important.  Having
recently bought a Nikon D70s I found the manual lacking somewhat in
simplicity.  For me, it raised more questions than it gave answers.  If like
me your a little slow with instruction manuals and need a little ...
Slideshow software15 Nov 2005 12:32 GMT22
I have a subset of nearly 2000 photos on my PC, which I would like to show
as a slideshow. I would like the slide show to loop forever (not stop at the
end) and preferebly show the photos in a random order. Even better would be
if the software could do all this with photos in ...

software to print multiple photos on one page?15 Nov 2005 12:02 GMT4
Is there something similar to the print feature in canon's photorecord that
automatically resize/move photos to fit as many photos as you want into one
page and is free so I can recommend to friends without a canon device?
Long term camera storage.15 Nov 2005 11:15 GMT6
Dear group members:
Since I have now moved entirely to digital I am left with film equipment
that is still in excellent condition and very dear to me. I don't anticipate
using film again any time soon. So this raises the question: What is the
Kodak EasyShare software question15 Nov 2005 10:02 GMT18
I've searched the archives of this group for an answer to my question,
but haven't found anything directly on point (yet). So, I thought I'd
take a shot and ask.
I recently switched my digital camera from a Panasonic to the Kodak

Tips for directing traffic to my online gallery?15 Nov 2005 04:51 GMT6
Other than doing what I can to get good google placement, are there any
other tips that can help drive traffic? Marketing isn't exactly my
strength...

Vendor Recommendations15 Nov 2005 04:24 GMT11
I hope to buy a Canon 20D very soon. Now, I need to find a vendor. I am
looking for ease of service and rapid turn-around when it comes time to
have my camera serviced or repaired. It would be nice if the vendor has
multiple offices nationwide, so I could have service when I travel.
Flashgun recommendation for EOS300D?15 Nov 2005 03:56 GMT4
I'm looking for a Flashgun for my Canon EOS300D - something with bounce head
would be good - maximum GBP £130 ($230) - any recommendations?
Just want something a bit better than the built-in flash, mainly for
portrait photography, and need a quicker recycle time than the built-in
