My brother strongly recommend this new camera. Will on sale on Dec 16, 2005 in Japan. Pre-order is brisk and may hard to purchase, was the rumour. Does name changes when they arrive to North America? Does Canadian customer has to wait bit longer, due to English/French manual?

i am very new to this, so please excuse my mistakes. i downloaded picasa a few days ago. it found all the pictures from my hard drive. but since then, i have downloaded few more pictures in my pictures folder, but they do not show up on picasa. please help.

Goal: produce an image with proper contrast throughout when photographing a very contrasty scene. Assume the camera and the objects in the scene do not move. Take N images with different exposures.

I've been wanting to get a digital camera for my mom for years now, but both Mom and Dad are pretty computer illiterate. They're in their 70's now and love to take pictures although they're sometimes snap-conservative because they don't want to waste film. Perfect

I have recently purchased the canon mark 2 . Everythingseems to be fine with camera,except for when i process the images to TIFF they look FLAT , I can not figure out why . any suggestions as to how shouldI I be processing the images would be appriciated ..
