I've got some slide images which I had taken on a film that I either did not
realise was past its used-by date or that the processing of the film has
caused a colour cast artefact. I assume the former is true.
The colour cast appears as a gradation, more intense on the 35mm long ...

Has anyone done some research to find out what is the fastest PC (not Mac)
config to run Phase One Capture One Pro. I already have a 3.2MHz Prescott
with 2GB Ram and a 10,000 rpm SATA raid 0 array but find it too slow for
some of the large batches which I process, sometimes 1 or ...

Isn't it annoying when you capture a nice image...but it has a small
annoying element that distracts?

I need a tool that can correct the date taken field in bulk.  Took a large

   I have just bought the Ixus 55.
The cover over the A/V and USB connectors is held to the body by a strip of
grey plastic.
The manual shows the cover opening upwards, but the movement appears to be

I am hoping for a bit of clarification please.  What is the difference
between a dedicated macro lens and a lens with a macro mode?
Almost all lenses these days ahve a macro mode but the proper macro lenses
are considerably more expensive....what do they offer over and above the
