| DNG files and Photoshop Elements 3.o | 26 Oct 2005 10:57 GMT | 2 |
I found the Adobe DNG Converter which BTW converts also the Pentax *ist DS RAW files, but Photoshop Elements 3 doesn't seem to know the DNG format although their web pages state that it does. Am I overlooking something?

| White background is blue! | 26 Oct 2005 09:49 GMT | 9 |
I have a Sony DSC - P150 & very happy with the results. Close-ups of bugs, flowers etc. Occasionally I photograph items to be sold on e-bay. I place them on a white paper background but the paper comes out all shades of blue! I have tried all flash settings, no flash at ...

| Slightly O/T: What to charge for a photo shoot? | 26 Oct 2005 08:16 GMT | 5 |
Hey, all. I recently did a modeling shoot with an amateur model. It was not for revenue, it was simply a creative exercise, and a way to add shots to her profile. The session went well, and the results were excellent.

| SD Memory Cards | 26 Oct 2005 07:51 GMT | 7 |
Just acquired my first digital camera - Canon Powershot A620. Am slowly learning all about it and taking pictures. It came with a SD 32 Memory Card; not too many pictures. I am considering purchasing a Lexar SD512-231 ($44.88). There is also the Lexar SD512-32-231 ($50.82). Does

| Question on memory(SD Card) and Cannon A620 | 26 Oct 2005 07:08 GMT | 1 |
OK, I've pretty much decided that I'm getting a Cannon A620. Now my question is about the SD Card interface in the camera. Is there a benefit to using the newer high speed SD Cards or does the Cannon support that. I know that some cameras and PDAs can show s significant increase

| Has Panasonic got it right after all? | 26 Oct 2005 04:18 GMT | 14 |
People have complained (rightly) about the noise level in Panasonic cameras, even the FZ30, their newest. But it seems to me that all Panasonic has done has left some of the "sledgehammer" digital noise reduction out of the

| more permanent ink for Canon printers? | 26 Oct 2005 04:14 GMT | 4 |
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any more permanent inks for Canon printers? I have a Canon Pixma IP4000, and I'm trying to print to the backs of photo paper to put a logo. I've found that I can print to it well by setting the print level below draft (go to the print drive, in

A few days after I tried my first digital camera my computer crashed. The shots from that day were not yet backed up, but I thought they would be ok because they were on a separate HD. They are still there but none of my programs can read the files. Is there anything I can do

| Beginner's guide to wedding photography | 26 Oct 2005 00:38 GMT | 27 |
Are any of you guys involved in wedding photography? I find wedding photos a real challenge to take - there are so many activities that go on and it's tough sometimes to capture that 'great shot' of the bride and groom are.

| Sony U30 inconsistently "losing" pictures on MemStick | 25 Oct 2005 23:26 GMT | 11 |
I've got a Sony U30 still camera. It has a slider mechanism that moves the lens cover aside, and in doing so powers up the device into picture taking mode (or whatever mode it's in). A couple of months ago it crashed - it wouldn't really do anything and
