Panasonic corners the noise market01 Oct 2005 06:06 GMT2
The FZ30 is another example of this.
But look at this new camera's output.
I don't know why, but their cameras
just...can't control their noise!
Help - Sony Cybershot T3 in China - no English manual - res problems01 Oct 2005 05:31 GMT2
I don't know if I am in the correct group, but I'm hoping someone can
help me.  I had my Nikon CoolPix and my Dell laptop stolen while here
in China.
I've replaced the camera with a Sony Cybershot T3 (same as T33 in the
Fuji Finepix - Delay Before Image Capture01 Oct 2005 05:09 GMT7
Whilst the Fuji Finepix range do indeed take good photos especially in
low light levels, I have found the one that I have has one really
irritating feature that my Pentax SLR 35mm film camera never had. This
is the inordinate delay between pressing the exposure button and the
Do not order through www.bestpricecameras.com01 Oct 2005 04:39 GMT23
Last week I put ordered a camcorder at www.bestpricecamers.com. Their
price seemed the lowest. The first suprise was that their shipping cost
starts 1t $50 and then for next day delivery they charge $150. My
husband wanted the camcorder for the weekend and their price was still

Blotch on Fuji Digital (non SLR) Camera01 Oct 2005 04:27 GMT4
I have only had this (Fuji E550) digital (non SLR) camera less than a

can be seen on the lcd display, as well as much more clearly when the

i dropped my 10d, broke the mirror. the EV is way off, the focusing is
random. anyway, does anyone know the rough repair costs to replace the
mirror box? --- 10d, 20d, 1d (or whatever), 300d, 350d --- any of the
pro slr's (they should use the same mirror more or less). i want to get
Canon flash extension cord01 Oct 2005 04:10 GMT1
I figure this ain't a good idea, but I'm still interested. It came to
pass that I mounted my 550EX in an umbrella adapting bracket and
connected it to a light stand. Now I needed to make my flash fire with
EOS 10d. I have a relatively short coiled off shoe ttl cord that would
Chalk one up for Digital.01 Oct 2005 03:58 GMT8
I recently took some flash pics of
the interior of a mission-church.
When I move them to my computer,
the images were dark... almost black.
Lithium batteries not recommended?01 Oct 2005 03:38 GMT96
Just purchased a Sony Cybershot DSC-H1...The manual says...
You can not use lithium batteries. I have always used non
rechargeable lithium AA's for emergency back ups. Why doesn't
Sony want these batteries used?
