(I believe they use some pulldown thick paper backdrops)
So I'm shooting my D70 for the first time, with kids in front of a white

Does anyone make 1.5V lithium rechargeable batteries?03 Oct 2005 14:14 GMT16
Does anyone make 1.5V lithium batteries (like those 'photo batteries'

Scanning 8.5" x 11" colour gloss poster03 Oct 2005 12:20 GMT1
I have a few peices of Point of Sale that I need to make digital, so that I
can use them in a sales presentation (most likely through Powerpoint).
I'm wondering what the best way to do this is with reasonable file sizes.
I did a couple of scans; one @ 200 one @ 2400; the 2400 one ...

Fuji Finepix E90003 Oct 2005 12:13 GMT2

It seems like a good camera.
I am after a high end digital that can take Raw as well as JPEGS.

Is there any way to transfer to my computer the information displayed
on the LCD Monitor (camera settings, f stop, etc.)  or is the only way
to write down the information given in the display
for each image?
CaptureOne RAW converter and Chromatic Abberation?03 Oct 2005 04:35 GMT14
I just tried the CaptureOne RAW conversion and was quite

vignetting as  provided in ACR). Is it really not there or did I miss
Poor quality of lunar images with 20D/C9003 Oct 2005 04:08 GMT45
I have a relatively new DSLR and an old (~ 1980, black tube) Celestron

the camera at prime focus (tripod, ASA 1600, 1/800, remote release
after ~10 sec of MLU), and the results were reasonably  well-exposed

Morality Test03 Oct 2005 03:06 GMT11
This test only has one question but it's a very important one.
By giving an honest answer you will discover where you stand morally.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you
will have to make a decision.
