What is the best (free) way of getting photos onto a DVD to play on a
domestic DVD / TV set?

I bought this camera quite a few months ago and have no trouble with it
until I put a new 64mb card in, and ever since it now flashes up saying
'system error 1 0' and keeps resetting itself. This is the second
camera this has happened to!

I just purchased my first digital camera (Canon A510). When I take
pictures, some sort of histogram is displayed, which apparently shows
the intensity of light at different colors. I believe I should be able
to use this information to set exposure times and possibly a custom

some extrodinary pics from nikon d70/100's. so "why" would one want to upgrade to a nikon d2x? i believe a lot of this is "camera
snobbery" ie keeping up with the "jones'es" wot u think? rgds to all from TBM...

Hello! I hope I'm at the right place. I've been trying over the phone
to help my friend attach pictures to her e-mail to send me. She's on
AOL and has a Hewlett Packard with Windows XP. Her picture software is
Sony Picture Package. I helped her search for her picture and had her

It took B&H 3 days to sell out of 5Ds.
That's slow for new roll-outs.
I'm wondering if Canon has over-priced this thing...
Personally, I am somewhat coming to the conclusion that there is no excuse

I have, literally, inherited a Canon 60D however, I do not have the
Digital Photo Professional Software. As it is an inheritance I cannot
ask the previous owner where the disk is. Is anyone out there willing
to give me a copy?

I'm strongly considering this camera and am curious to hear from any
owners out there.

Could subtle vignetting show up as corner-blur and be caused by a lens
hood and/or UV filter on my Panasonic DMC-FZ20? There is no obvious
darkening, just intermittent but fairly consistent fuzziness at the
lower right.

Thinking up upgrading my Kodak 6940 to a proper DSLR.
focusing on the two above.  Not too fussed on 8mp vs 6mp.
Any views ... from a beginner to DSLR perspective of course.

I have an opportunity to pick up a 28-70mm f/2.8 locally for an excellent
price and have a few questions before taking the plunge.  I already have an
18-70mm kit lens that does what I need it to do reasonably well, but I feel
there's room for improvement.  I read some of the reviews ...

Firstly, I hope I am posting in the correct group for this?
Like the tread suggests, I am trying to locate a Mini/Micro digital camera
which encompasses the function which enables the user to remotely trigger
the shooting.  Does anybody know if such a camera exists???
