| Costco Photo Calendars | 10 Oct 2005 02:54 GMT | 6 |
The image quality of Costco photo calendars is pretty low. I uploaded 12 images from my Oly 8080 (8 MP) that I knew were of good quality, having had them previously printed at 12"x18" size. The prints on the calendar were streaked and blotchy and I would be ashamed to give them ...

| 20D goes hillclimbing | 09 Oct 2005 21:33 GMT | 3 |
Seems like 20D "does something" is a very popular way to saying: Here are some pictures taken with the 20D. So I thought I could contribute to this: http://www.dahl-stamnes.net/Foto/index.php?menu=Hillclimbing The text is in Norwegian, but pictures are still "languageless".

I’ve just bought a Pentax Optio S45 and so far am loving it. BUT, I can’t find anything in the manual about displaying the date stamp on photo files. There is the info about displaying it on prints, but not on the files. Anyone know?

I have a point and shoot Nikon 7900 which has given me great results. I recently decided to upgrade my old 35mm Canon EOS and bought a 350D. I continued to use the old 28-105 lens on the 350D. Results from the 350D have been good but I want to make sure that the camera

| Opinions On What I Did? | 09 Oct 2005 12:20 GMT | 14 |
I tried this yesterday and must have walked away without posting. Anyway, the first thing is a heads up about an external hard drive. Staples has an 80 gig Maxtor for $69.95, which I thinks is real good deal on a smaller drive like that. (I think it ends today and I don't

| FastStone Image Viewer - XP taskbar | 09 Oct 2005 10:48 GMT | 2 |
My first impressions of FastStone Image Viewer are very positive. When I first ran it two days ago, I was pleased to see that I could use the very handy feature of popping up menus at the various screen edges *without* losing my permanently displayed WinXP Taskbar.

| Sony DSC-S60 auto focus problem | 09 Oct 2005 07:17 GMT | 2 |
I was wondering if anyone else has a problem with autofocus in the movie mode. Both center point and multipoint "bounce" the focus a lot even if the things that I focused on doesn't move. When I set it to infinity it seems to do much better but any motion in the scene seems
