Best printer photo greeting cards30 Oct 2005 18:44 GMT2

printer options for doing moderate quantities of 6x9" glossy prints
that will be glued to the face of greeting cards?
I want them to look as much like store-made photos as possible.
Settings for a Sony digital camera30 Oct 2005 18:31 GMT3
I own a Sony DSC-S60 digital camera.  It's about three months old and
gets infrequent use.  I will be taking a trip next month, and I'd like to
get the settings working at optimal performance.  Currently, I am not
satisfied with the picture quality of this camera: not sharp ...

Canon Ixus 700 Digital Camera30 Oct 2005 17:01 GMT3
Bought the above digital camera in July this year.
I carried it in my handbag for a few days protected in a flimpsy bag.
I have now tried to use it and switched the ON button and to my horror
saw that the LCD screen has a really large black stripe and a smaller

Importing IPTC info into album software30 Oct 2005 11:44 GMT3
Does anyone know which windows based photo album software supports
importing IPTC fields from an image?
I know Imatch does, but are there any others?  Even if it just imported
a few of the main fields into its custom database that would be fine.
USB Cable Pin-type for Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ330 Oct 2005 11:34 GMT4
Recently, my girlfriend's digital camera(Lumix FZ3) developed a new
problem where it would no longer communicate via the supplied USB cable
to my laptop and desktop.  On the laptop, once the USB plug was plugged
into the camera(which was off at the time), the entire laptop(an IBM

Hi, I've got a series of pictures of a tree, taken over the course of a
year, and I want to combine this into a video showing the passing of
the seasons.
I can happily make the video, that's fine, but what I'd like to do is

Well I'm sure some of you already had, and I'm sure many of you have
requirements that mean they have to stay with windows, but if any of
you is curious and have standard requirements then I suggest you give
linux a try.

Best P&S digital camera with highest zoom level30 Oct 2005 06:07 GMT2
My 79-year-old Mom shocked the heck out of my girlfriend and myself the
other day by saying she would like a simple (point and shoot) digital
camera with a zoom feature similar to my girlfriend's DMC-FZ3 and its
12X optical zoom w/ image stabilization.
