2nd Camera14 Oct 2005 08:16 GMT14
I have a Canon 20D and love it.  I use it quite a bit and have taken about
4000 shots in the 11 months that I have had it.  It is a little bulky,
however, and I would like to have a second camera for those occasions that I
see something that I would like to shoot on the spur of ...

I've just started using a program called AttributeMagic Pro. Yet

the columns it displays is called 'Original'. Until seeing it in this

My kids just bought me this great device and I'm so delighted with it
but I have one hurdle to overcome.  I want to use it mainly as a
viewer to share my photos with friends.  I want to transfer and
organize edited pictures from my computer to folders on the P-2000.
Paging Mark2 and prints changing as they dry.14 Oct 2005 03:11 GMT1
Regarding my prints changing as they dry. I used my expensive setup to print
the same image as my cheap setup. I used an Epson R200 fitted with Epson ink
and Epson Premium Glossy paper bought in a British retail store. When it
first came out the print was more vibrant than it was ...
How long do you leave your prints before deciding if they are what you want?14 Oct 2005 02:46 GMT10
I am using non Epson inks in an Epson 1290 and the results are quite good.
But - they change over the first 20 minutes or so after coming out of the
printer. At first they are vibrant and glossy whatever the angle of viewing,
then they assume a slighly bluish sheen when viewed ...
Editing EXIF data on a Mac?13 Oct 2005 23:38 GMT2
Does anyone know of an easy way to edit the EXIF data on TIFF files with
a Macintosh?
I am creating stitched panos which don't contain EXIF data - but it
would be handy to be able to add the EXIF data from the original photos

Small digitial camera recommendations13 Oct 2005 20:10 GMT15
My wife wants a small easy to use digital camera.  Her biggest
requirement is no red eye.  Our current film camera has red eye
problems. She wants a digital camera that is small, no red eye, easy to
use, and takes great pictures indoors and outdoors in most lighting
ANNI GOES PRO !!!13 Oct 2005 18:03 GMT27
I have been talked (begged) into shooting some photos for two different
friends of mine in the upcoming weeks.  And the scary thing is, I might
even get paid!  That puts the pressure on.
One of them is a birthday bash for my friend who is turning 95. That
Successor to Oly 8080???13 Oct 2005 17:45 GMT2
Anything new in sight? I mean, now that Sony launched the R1, how soon are
the rest to follow? I remember the last time, it didn't take too long for
the same sensor in DSC-F828 to appear in some other manufacturer's bodies,
along with their own optics. Are we expecting the same ...
Color Correction using Linux?13 Oct 2005 17:27 GMT19
So, I have a Spyder2 that I use with Windows XP and it works great.  It

these profiles with Linux?  I have never heard of a DRM/DRI option to do
