I just received my Nikon D70, and as I was reading the owners manual I noticed the operating range goes down to 32F. Any experience out there in colder conditions? I'm climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Sept, and expect it to be around zero F

Has anyone used the canon 50mm f1.8 with extension tubes? The lens is pretty sharp wondering how good of macro quality I would get as compared to close-up filters.

Are there 'adapters' so that a pre Canon Eos film camera lens (the bayonet type mount) can be used with the new Canon Rebel? If so where might I find one. I realize that auto focusing would not be available. Thank you Larry

Is anyone using the 3.2 version of DNG and a Nikon D50? On the opening page at choose folder it won't highlight any of the NEF files taken with a D50. Version says 3.2 and adobe's page claims the D50 is supported. Any experience?

I have xD card with a lot of pictures which I really want to get off the card. Problem is that my camera (Olympus C-7000) shows message to either power the camera off or format the card, which I don't want to do cause I would loose all the pictures. I guess the card got corrupted

Does anyone konw of a free (or very cheap) utility that will allow DNG files to be viewed as thumbnails in Win XP? I'm looking for soething like DP Magic, which allows RAW files from a number of manufacturers to be viewed as thumbs - but it doesn't support DNG files.

I was going to ask on their newgroup if there was any way to shift the alignment of synched images, but all I get is timeouts contacting news.cerious.com Same thing for their website. Are they just down for weekend maintenance, or have they disappeared?

If I buy colored gel filters to put on my strobe (flash) lighting that illuminates my white background, will I be able to get colored backgrounds? And I would need to buy two sets of the gel filters, one for each of two lights that illuminate the background, correct? I tried
