Your feedback is always appreciated22 Oct 2005 15:30 GMT4
Here are some pictures I took on my vacation to TN with a Kodak LS753.
I am no way a professional, although my wife feels that i should sell my
pictures.  In my opinion, the pictures seem good, but no way up to
professional standards.  What do you think?
MiniDV -to- PC -to- CD22 Oct 2005 15:25 GMT9
I posted this query in uk.rec.video.digital some days back but haven't
got any suggestions yet. I post it again in a hope to get some help.
I am trying to transfer my videos from my Sony MiniDV camcorder to my
PC Hard disk, and then eventually to a CD.

I think this offer is a good one. The fact that Ebay and Screenselect have
offers on this site convinces me that

Photo editing on the go (and trying linux)22 Oct 2005 06:27 GMT36
I just tried a linux livecd and was very pleased. It has the gimp,
which looks much, much nicer on it than it does on windows thanks to
the native interface. It's very fast and responsive - I edited a 19mb
image file and the changes were instantaneous, much faster and more
Safe Cd Storage22 Oct 2005 06:23 GMT10

IfanView question22 Oct 2005 05:15 GMT4
Has anyone noticed that the Color space is removed when running a batch
rename/resize in IrfanView?  I just ran a batch that was resizing images
to 4x6 @ 250 dpi and then adding _4x6250 to the filename, This appeared
to work however when I open the newly created images in CS2 the ...

Yes, I've heard about the gigapixel project, but that uses sheet FILM
which is then digitized.  As far as I know, the largest current
digital image maker is a 340m pixel imager on the CFH (Canada France
Hawaii) telescope on Mauna Kia(sp?) in Hawaii.  But how about
