Here are some pictures I took on my vacation to TN with a Kodak LS753. I am no way a professional, although my wife feels that i should sell my pictures. In my opinion, the pictures seem good, but no way up to professional standards. What do you think?

I posted this query in uk.rec.video.digital some days back but haven't got any suggestions yet. I post it again in a hope to get some help. I am trying to transfer my videos from my Sony MiniDV camcorder to my PC Hard disk, and then eventually to a CD.

I just tried a linux livecd and was very pleased. It has the gimp, which looks much, much nicer on it than it does on windows thanks to the native interface. It's very fast and responsive - I edited a 19mb image file and the changes were instantaneous, much faster and more

Today I have saved my digital photos on a multisession cd and closed it, because it was full. After this I have checked if everything was write and it appeared a messagge saying that cd wasn't readable. I tried to eject it and then read it again and the same messagge has

Has anyone noticed that the Color space is removed when running a batch rename/resize in IrfanView? I just ran a batch that was resizing images to 4x6 @ 250 dpi and then adding _4x6250 to the filename, This appeared to work however when I open the newly created images in CS2 the ...

Yes, I've heard about the gigapixel project, but that uses sheet FILM which is then digitized. As far as I know, the largest current digital image maker is a 340m pixel imager on the CFH (Canada France Hawaii) telescope on Mauna Kia(sp?) in Hawaii. But how about
