Transferring pics from mp3 player to Sony dsc-T7...?29 Sep 2005 12:35 GMT2
Been searching for info on this topic for ages now and nobody seems to
have a direct answer.
I've bought a Sony NWHD5 mp3 player and would like to be able to
directly transfer pics off my Sony DSC-T7 digital camera.
Enlarging from a D2X29 Sep 2005 10:52 GMT7
I want to do enlargements, up to 20x30 from a D2X. Can anyone tell me
how good the image will be? I'll be getting the prints done by a lab
(i.e. giving a them the digital file and getting them printed on their
photographic printer). I want to know if fringing, etc will be
Bad storage card poll?29 Sep 2005 10:45 GMT4
Okay, I've returned my  *third*  brand-name storage card to the manufacturer
as it would not write (write fault error).  Oddly, it works in their branded
memory card reader but not in anything else (like their own USB card holder
or any laptop with a built-in reader).  It ...
CF card readers29 Sep 2005 10:33 GMT3
Any preferences for USB2 CF card readers?  Any to avoid?
Thanks,

Canon EOS 8.0MP Rebel XT  - YES OR NO?!!!29 Sep 2005 08:14 GMT15
I'm thinking of going out and getting my first digital SLR  -
Have my eye on the Canon Rebel XT - I'll be using this camera to take photos
for my graphic design work, as well as for taking "fun" pics of stuff here
and there - I want a camera that will let me do as much as possible ...
Is 8MP the limit for APS size sensor DSLRs?29 Sep 2005 07:03 GMT16
From my experimentation, it appears that there is not much to be gained by
making higher resolution APS sized sensors for DSLR cameras. Unless I used
high quality fixed focal length lenses on a tripod, I was not able to
squeeze out any useful additional resolution. Even with a ...

Canon SD400 LCD screens29 Sep 2005 01:45 GMT5
I can pick up a brand new one for a good price-- but I read about the LCD
screens breaking on this model. Are these screens more susceptible to damage
than other cameras in its class?

Help: Canon G2 Software Problems29 Sep 2005 01:29 GMT1
I had to send some images to someone and so I picked up a Canon
G2($150). I downloaded the windows software here:

I attempted to install, but no icons appeared on my desktop, and there
Printing..Online or @Home28 Sep 2005 21:47 GMT10
My colleague and I are having a discussion on the relative merits of
printing digital photos at home or printing them using an online retailer
(such as photobox).  On most issues we are pretty much agreeing but he
thinks that you get the same quality from the home printers as you ...

Tripole Black Cartidges28 Sep 2005 16:46 GMT2
I'm currently printing black and white images using an Epson Stylus 2000p,
and have found that printing in colour rather than B&W mode gives me a less
streaky image. The only problem is that I can't get it to look black under
all lighting conditions.
Which photo management software?28 Sep 2005 16:00 GMT2
I have just been nominated as the photo advisor for the school
yearbook.  I have 12 kids with digital cameras running around taking
pix.  I'm drowning in pixels.
I'm looking for photo library software that has the following
