I have th DREB and just bought a Canon 420EX flash to help will fill
lighting.  My question is, why don't I get more flash power with
certain shots?  I just took an assignment (volunteer) with my
daughter's school (very large and sophisticated private school) to

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 camera and have been taking some long
exposure shots of 8 second (lightning).
The camera take another 8 seconds to process the pictures (at which time the
lightning strikes!)

images which is always in the same place so its a faulty pixel on the CCD.

What is the typical workflow for film scanning and archiving?  I have a
couple of thousand slides [mostly kodachrome] from the 1950s and 1960s
that I would like to scan.  Granted, I will probably only scan select
images, but for the sake of argument, let's say 50% or 1000+ images.  ...

I'm scanning old 4x6 wedding photographs at a resolution of 600 on a
Canon scanner. After I do all my editing in Photoshop and cropping it
to the right 1:1.25 ratio to fit on a 8x10, do I need to resize my
image to an 8x10 and do the right proportions for my pixels or is the

Canon 20D Lock-up again !!!! Who resolved this issue?15 Sep 2005 03:33 GMT27
Last weekend my EOS 20D locked up again. This problem only occurs when
the battery became exhausted and after recharged it, the problem starts.
The trick of take-off the battery and re-insert it don't work in my
body. I have to detach the lens, take-off the flash card and the ...
