I need a new Digital PS for my wife since her current one won't do the job.
She is going to be shooting my daughter at her volleyball games indoors. So,
here is what I think I need:

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 camera and have been taking some long
exposure shots of 8 second (lightning).
The camera take another 8 seconds to process the pictures (at which time the
lightning strikes!)

   I have a Sony DSC 85. I have recently noticed one white pixel in the
images which is always in the same place so its a faulty pixel on the CCD.
   I have a couple of questions:
1) Is this sort of fault to be expected if it is litterally one or two

What is the typical workflow for film scanning and archiving?  I have a
couple of thousand slides [mostly kodachrome] from the 1950s and 1960s
that I would like to scan.  Granted, I will probably only scan select
images, but for the sake of argument, let's say 50% or 1000+ images.  ...

Has anybody used the Epson 1280 with 13" roll paper to print panoramas?
