waterproof, water bottle, guide books etc.  Preferably a 2 strap
Windows XP Does Not Recogognize Memory Srick19 Sep 2005 17:21 GMT3
I'm having a problem getting my laptop to recognize the memory stick.
It was working and now isn't. Every time I insert the MS Duo into the
adapter and then into my built in reader, I get the "XP Sound"
indicating that it has been plugged in but it does not show up in
do polarizing filters confuse autofocus?19 Sep 2005 14:03 GMT26
I have noticed that some pictures I take (Canon 20d) with a circular
polarizer are slightly out of focus. I can focus manually, with the
filter attached, and get very sharp results. Is it possible that the

Filters question on DSLR19 Sep 2005 12:24 GMT8
I bought a Red filter today to use with my Canon 350D when taking B&W
photos.
It wasn't until I got home I realised that in the settings of the 350, are
actually one that simulates a Red, and most other colour filters, by toning
RAW Question19 Sep 2005 11:31 GMT6
I am new to RAW. I have a Rebel XT and the jpg files are quieter than
the raw files. Is the noise reduction and sharpening that good in the
camera when shooting jpg? To make the RAW image look as sharp as the jpg

I've tried Ilford's Premium photo paper with my Epson 1280 - I followed the
suggested settings but it was a disaster.
Anyone know how I can get a better print from this paper?
Thanks much,

question about damaged/recovered .jpg files19 Sep 2005 01:46 GMT1
I accidentally deleted 15 or so .jpg file off of a 256MB xD card.  The
photos were taken with a Fuji A340 camera.  I used a recovery program
that I got off download.com to undelete the pictures.  14 of the 15
were recovered fine, but the last one seems to be damaged.  The

I recently brought a Nikon D70 and more or less have sussed out how to use
