| JPG size conversion. | 21 Sep 2005 04:28 GMT | 21 |
I have hundreds of photos all at full 8MPixel size on my computer and I would like to put a copy of them onto my other computer (living room, through the TV), but I want to reduce their size first to save megabytes maybe even gigabytes of space on the smaller hard disk.

| Idea: digicam kits w/ memory not charger! | 21 Sep 2005 02:50 GMT | 6 |
It's lame that digicam manufacturers provide kits with 16MB memory cards and a NiMH battery charger. Most people who have joined the modern technological age (in which we live today ;-) already have a battery charger, and often they have a better one

| Adobe Photoshop CS2 | 20 Sep 2005 21:14 GMT | 4 |
I've been using Photoshop 7.0 but am getting ready to upgrade to CS2. No where in the instructions does it say that you should uninstall 7.0 first. However, after reading some forum postings on the Adobe website, I began to wonder if it would be a good idea. A Photoshop expert ...

| The dopes of digital... | 20 Sep 2005 19:20 GMT | 145 |
Was out this morning, we have kind of a town commons here, food lawn, people, etc., and I saw a man walk up with a Nikon CoolPix on top of what must have been a 10 pound tripod (and it was fully extended). Yes, it was quite sunny and his hands seemed steady.

I'm looking for a slide scanning service. I have too little time to make it worth while buying a slide scanner, but I want at least 4000 dpi images back. I'd also like to not pay a bundle. Can anyone recommend a service that they have actually used?

nice new shiny camera, takes lovely pix. Supplied software works ok, lots of fab pix transferred to camera in the first week of having it. Then, after a week .....when I connect the camera to computer, Windows comes up with little message "USB device not recognised".
