2 yr old camera...need advice.01 Oct 2005 00:56 GMT3
I have a Kodak LS443 that stopped working properly.
The LCD shows status but not an image from the CCD.
Kodak does not repair this model anymore.
This is most likely a broken cable from the CCD.
Technology to stop a digital camera from taking a picture01 Oct 2005 00:45 GMT31
I have put up an article on www.dimagemaker.com about some early
research work being done to block digital cameras of taking a picture
of something or someone that is to be protected.
Food for thought.

Deconvolution of Sensor Anti-Alias filter?30 Sep 2005 22:18 GMT63
Folks,
Another 'do they do that and if not, why?' question.
Canon's sensors have an anti-alias filter for good reason.
Most everyone uses some sort of Unsharp-Mask to 'restore'
Tamron 28-105 f2.830 Sep 2005 22:14 GMT2
Does anybody have experience with this lens and a nikon digital body? I've
been shooting low light action sports with a D70 using three different
lenses. This lens has the zoom range and faster speed that I most often need
in a single lens. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Advice Needed! 30 Sep 2005 20:48 GMT10
Not sure this is place to post a question like this, please excuse if it is
not.
Here's the issue: my wife is looking for a home use digital camera that does
not have what she calls the "annoying delay" between the time she depresses
Replacement for a Coolpix 4500 & Coolight SL-130 Sep 2005 19:28 GMT3
I'm looking for a replacement system for the Coolpix 4500 and Coolight
SL-1 LED macro light. Nikon have discontinued the 4500 and don't make
any models that use the Coolight any more. Can anyone suggest a
replacement system preferable with a macro light that stays on rather
Tripod for lightweight camera30 Sep 2005 15:01 GMT6
I'm looking to buy a tripod to go along with my Panasonic FZ5. This is a
fairly light camera by the standards of this group (<1 pound), and I was
wondering if anyone could recommend a reasonable tripod for such a
featherweight.
Got my 5D + full res sample30 Sep 2005 10:36 GMT7
I just picked up my 5D from Campkins in Cambridge, who gave me a very
resaonable part-exchange on my 10D (a lot more confidence-inspiring than
selling it on eBay). Apparently it was the first one that they'd sold
through their main shops, although they'd sold one earlier today ...
Secure Digital Recommendations30 Sep 2005 10:05 GMT15
To All:
I recently purchased a new camera that uses Secure Digital and I am
asking for some recommendations on reliability of different brands of
Secure Digital memory. I am looking at 512 MB.
Using Cybercafe to Clear full camera cards?30 Sep 2005 08:12 GMT4
3 of us will be traveling for 2 weeks in the UK and Cologne area of
Germany and each of us has (sigh) a different digital camera that each
takes a different style card.
I am not taking a laptop. I worry about filling up the cards on our
Is there any password protected camera?30 Sep 2005 07:29 GMT30
Is there any password protected camera, so that people cant open my
camera and view my photos? I mean that I will password protect the
Review Photos option on the camera. Thanks for letting me know.

Will a BCI-6PC cart work in an IP4000 printer? A friend of mine bought
