I'm considering purchasing a Pentax *ist DL. Should I buy body only ? I have a range of old Pentax lenses. 28-70, 75-300 both AF. 28,35,50 90macro, 500Mirror and 70-210 Tamron zoom all auto. Can I use all of these ?

Ok I am not sure what I pressed, but my 10D now is taking exposures 1/2 stop over the zero mark in the indicator I see when I look through the viewfinder (-2 -1 0 +1 +2). In the menu, I do not have AEB turned on. What do I do to get rid of this?

I tried to apply an adjustment layer to many images by following the PSE 3 help on duplicating layer: Drag the layer's name from the Layers palette of the source image into the destination image.

I have just had an insurance claim rejected for accidental damage to my finepix f455 digital camera on the grounds that this equipment is not classed (by Abbey National UK) as video or computer equipment. As experts in the field I would like your comment on this.

I am seeing that alot of folk here like re-chargable batteries. I have a Canon A310, I just bought. I used Duracell in it and they lasted for about 10 photos and about 1/2 hour. My question is how long do rechargables last compared to regular AA

I took pictures on a Nikon D70 and they look perfect on the camera LCD. However when I open them on the Samsung 900NF CRT monitor, they are way too dark. I calibrated the monitor with the Samsung Natural Color software and Adobe Gamma (that comes with Photoshop Elements 3) but it

See how this photo has sort of a "framed" effect being darker around the edges (kind of leading your eye in to the subject) - do you think this was done in photoshop? If so, how? If not, how do you think it was done? It doesn't look like something a polarizer would accomplish
