I saw several reviews where people complained that their LCD cracked on SD400 and SD500 models. Other than that, they seem to be exceptional cameras with great picture qualicty and the design is just fantastic. Are their LCDs really more sensitive than other cameras'?

Does the IR remote work from BEHIND the Nikon D50 / D70 (or can it be made to) so that it can be easily used on tripod with long focus lens, e.g. for wildlife shots?

Say if a picture has a 15 second shutter speed, is the image taken at the beginning of the 15 seconds or at the end?

To further complicate matters, the H-P 2600n is now available for $40 (street price) and, perhaps, is a better choice than the 1200D ($219 laser printer. The 2600n is reviewed in PC Magazine, August 9th, 2005 on page 52.

I have just bought a new monitor - ViewSonic P97f+ (19" CRT) - and have been calibrating it using Viewsonic's Colormatch software. I checked the screen display of the calibration print provided by Photobox and the match was good , although the color bars were somewhat

Put me in the Mile-High Club! Went up to Clingman's Dome in the Smokey Mountains today. That's the highest point in Tennessee, btw. On the steep trek up there, I saw these guys playing in some wildflowers:

Is there a product, like Snappixx for Coolpix cameras, that allows control of the Nikon D70s? At a minimum I would like to be able to control zoom and release the shutter. Is this even possible on the D70s?

What is the difference between the iPod Camera Connector and the iPod Digital Camera Link? Both appear to do the same thing but the latter is 3x the cost. All I am looking to do is to dump pictures from the camera onto the iPod so I can later on copy them back onto a PC. Not ...
