What is your favourite photo database freeware - I have tried Picasa2,
but could not share database info across a wireless network.

Opinions on these shots please08 Aug 2005 22:11 GMT7
I recently took a vacation to the S.F. Bay area. During the week I took
over 700 shots with the 20d. I've posted a few of them and would like to
hear comments/critiques on these so I can improve my technique.
The gallery is at: http://www.pbase.com/craigbob/sf_vacation
Photosuite 7 Platinum08 Aug 2005 20:23 GMT11
I use Photosuite 7 platinum by Roxio to edit my digital images.
It is easy to use and doe's everything I need and has pleasing results.
My problem is that after editing a picture to my liking, I click on "save"
and it will quite often freeze and I will have to shut the program down ...

Greetings Everyone,
Since some of you have offered your thoughts and suggestions in the past, I
thought I would share the release of the P series cameras from Kodak.  They
incorporate a lot of features but mostly they have the features many of you

Please recommend a program to remove "gold eye" from cats08 Aug 2005 19:44 GMT24
Can anyone recommend a program to remove "gold eye" (for lack of a better
term) from photos of my cats?  It does not need to be free -- although that
would be nice -- but it does need to be *easy* to use.  Programs that remove
red eye don't work -- this is not true red eye, and ...

photos on CD08 Aug 2005 19:09 GMT5
Now it seems all labs give you photos on cd for 0.99c extra
whether you want it or not.
So you get prints, negatives, and a cd.
However, the software that comes on the cd is so annoying
Kodak DX7590 battery questions08 Aug 2005 18:51 GMT7
Hello, all,
If this is not the appropriate newsgroup to ask these questions of, I
hope you'll re-direct me.
If it is, I have some questions about the Kodak DX 7590 camera I bought
Zoo problems08 Aug 2005 18:50 GMT10
I was at the San Diego zoo this last Thursday the fourth. It was a beautiful
day with the high of 75 F.
What I would like to know is how did you manage to shoot through all the
wire mesh between you and the animals? I was using the 20D with the kit lens

Nikon D70 - RAW import to Photoshop Elements08 Aug 2005 14:25 GMT18
I've just bought a D70 and I'm puzzled about how to import RAW images into
Photoshop Elements.   Although the Nikon images are apparently RAW format,
they download as NEF files and Elements doesn't know how to handle them.  I
tried the rather naive trick of renaming them from .NEF ...

How to Setup a Camera 120 ft Away?08 Aug 2005 13:18 GMT2
I want to set up a camera by a gate about 120 feet away. I'd also like
to put a motion detector out there. When the motion detector is
triggered, I'd like a window to show up on the screen (perhaps normally
minimized on the task bar) displaying the camera video output.
