| Slave flash for digital camera | 09 Aug 2005 12:47 GMT | 1 |
A couple years ago I bought a digital slave flash trigger to use one of my old flash units for my small digital camera. I hoped it would allow me to get decent pictures during things like wedding receptions where people were 30 ft away. The flash unit on my small digital camera ...

| ThumbsPlus: 16-bit Version? | 09 Aug 2005 08:32 GMT | 6 |
If there ever was such a thing, does anybody recall the version number. I'm thinking it might be useful for creating a self-contained CD for displaying/navigating pix.

| ThumbsPlus: Add-In To Render .NEF Files? | 09 Aug 2005 04:45 GMT | 3 |
Been playing around with my new D70s. Looks like it saves RAW in some kind of proprietary format that neither my old version of PhotoShop nor my latest-and-greatest (7.0) version of ThumbsPlus can deal with.

| Advice on improving a badly lit photo | 09 Aug 2005 02:34 GMT | 8 |
This is sort of a post-mortem request for advice, so it's more along the lines of "next time, how can I do this better". Last week, I tried to photograph the new (5 day old) baby gorilla at the Lincoln Park Zoo here in Chicago. The problem was that mom and baby, two

| Canon S2 IS question | 08 Aug 2005 23:00 GMT | 2 |
I'm on the fence btwn the Canon and a Panasonic FZ5. From all the reading I've been doing, it seems like the Pany is a bit faster focusing and shot to shot. I'm leaning heavily toward the Canon, but can't make a final decision. I've had the Canon in my hands, I like the feel of ...
