Removing Datestamp11 Aug 2005 11:21 GMT6
I've taken photos with my Kodak DX7440, all with the datestamp imbedded
in the image. Now I would like to remove the datestamp for photo
contest submission. Kodak says their software won't allow this. Does
anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

made by Ray-O-Vac).
Is the only difference between the IC3 and regular NiMh batteries the charge

Why Do You Need 5 Megapixels?11 Aug 2005 09:27 GMT60
I have a new 5 MP camera, a Casio Exilim Z55.

The camera defaults to a resolution of 2560 x 1920, which gives very large

that they do not get confused with photos from IXUS 50 photos when
downloaded to the computer. ie change IMG_0001.
The Promise of DSLRs11 Aug 2005 05:21 GMT66
It was supposed to be "just a matter of time"
before DSLRs would accep the many lens
from old 35mm SLRs.
Has that actually happened ?

Question: "Affordable" telephoto for Rebel11 Aug 2005 00:24 GMT10
Hey, all.
Seems I can't stop looking at lenses. Oh well. I imagine it's a common
malady in the group. ;-)
I have 2 fascinations: Macro and telephoto. My macro needs have been
lowest iso speed?11 Aug 2005 00:10 GMT35
My Canon 10D iso only goes down to iso 100. I am curious if other digital
SLRs can go below that, since film cameras can use eg iso 25 film (like
Kodachrome 25). And if not, why can't digital go below iso 100?

I have an Olympus stylus 410 Digital used for taking progress photos at
