Just bought a new digital camera, the Kodak DX7590. This is a 5MP model with

I've tried using several different soft focus filters on my D1, D100 and
D2X. I'm finding that the SFs seem to look MUCH "mushier" (sorry for the
"technical terminology" <g>) on digital than they ever did with any of my
film cameras (N90s, SQ-Ai, etc.). Has anyone else noticed ...

Dutch travel photographer: quality photolinks wanted... 12 Aug 2005 02:14 GMT3
Just had my new website going live: www.oostwestthijsbest.nl . Due to the
'Google-factor' it's now important to get some quality links, but it seems
most of the websites containing photo-links are basically junkyards. Just
give them a link and you get one back, zero editing, just a ...

Yup still whining away here. After doing a firmware flash in which
everything seems to have been done correctly the camera is dead. It
was a week after the warranty ran out so they want $150.
Obviously I can buy a new 765 for $230-250 and have found 750s for 200

I've got a Panasonic FZ-20 digital camera with  55 mm adapter. I would like
to buy a wide angle lens for this camera.
Can you recommend me one? (Exaxt type and model?)  (The lens is 55mm, so I
bought the same size adapter, and I read in another forums that this size

Would it be better to pick the ISO myself?
I guess you could take along an external light meter and figure out
Date Stamp with Oly D-58011 Aug 2005 23:04 GMT1
Does anyone know how to put a date stamp on pictures taken with an Oly

up in the properties for the pictures, but I can't get the date to be
displayed when viewing/printing the pictures.

Crazy idea...11 Aug 2005 20:44 GMT3
...I'm one of the few people who actually kind of digs the fisheye
effect.
I'm thinking of getting an old manual full fisheye lens and getting an
adapter for my 10D.  Sigma makes a new 8mm full fisheye, but I'd like a
Slide Show Software11 Aug 2005 20:15 GMT5
I have produced a slide show using Adobe Photoshop Elements with music and
transitions.
I was quite pleased with the result until I saw someone else's slide show.
It had a lot more sophisticated transitions than mine.
Desparate for help to get shots off CF card11 Aug 2005 12:25 GMT18
Bought a new card used it today and all shots (100'ish ) are viewable on the

for the first time so not sure what's going on as shots ...
