| How fast with flash? | 13 Aug 2005 11:06 GMT | 8 |
I've read about how many shots a dslr camera can take in succession. How many can this same dslr take in succession using the built in flash. Are you limited to the flash's recharge rate? Do external flashes recycle faster? This seems to be a limiting factor on my P&S HP 945. I

| Panasonic FZ20 IS (Images Stabilizer) | 13 Aug 2005 10:34 GMT | 5 |
It's hard for me to tell it's on. Does anyone out there with this camera notice a big difference when on 12X and looking at a subject? I have the IS in Mode 2, so it should be working all the time. When I turn it on / off I cannot see a significant difference in the

| Photo telephone | 13 Aug 2005 08:10 GMT | 11 |
This question probably doesn't belong in this group, but it's a close relative and I couldn't find any place more appropriate to ask it. I just bought a new Motorola V220 cell phone with a built in digital camera and I have been pleasantly surprised at what good snapshots it

| Red LED display | 13 Aug 2005 03:01 GMT | 5 |
I have something that I'm trying to get a photo of and it has a small red led display on it. When I just take a normal set up photo with my D450Z it makes the display blurry and slightly off color.

About four or five inches in it was like something spongy and firm but I was able to push through it. Any idea what it was?

| Nikon D50, worth it, or go higher? | 12 Aug 2005 23:37 GMT | 15 |
OK...my trusted little Nikon Coolpix 5700 has finally bit the dust and joined the ranks of Ansel Adams, Helmut Newton, and Jimi Hendrix in that great big digital darkroom in the sky. <moment of silence> After over a year of dreaming, teasing myself, and talking about it

| Lens advise | 12 Aug 2005 22:37 GMT | 17 |
This type of question has been asked many times before and I have learnt a great deal from the answers. However here is my situation. I have bought a Canon 350D body only. I have a Nikon 7900 7MP point and shoot whose results I have been very happy

| DSLR or Scanned MF | 12 Aug 2005 22:31 GMT | 14 |
There are those who claim that the 12 and 16MP DSLRs are a match for medium format. I was surprised at how well an image from a friend's D70 uprezzed. But when it gets down to the impact of a print, at 24"x30", I'm still sticking with scanned 6x7 slides. For prints that size has
