2.5AH bats - Energizer14 Aug 2005 08:37 GMT26
I purchased 8 Energizer 2.5AH NiMH last spring and something
is wrong.  Beyond capacity is there something about these batteries
that requires a spec charger?  They will not charge on the
two that I have.  The Energizer 2100 and 2300 perform much

Coolpix 8800 Replacement?14 Aug 2005 02:06 GMT4
I had a Coolpix8800 and was in an auto accident where the camera was
damaged. Insurance is giving me $900 to replace it. I was pretty
dissappointed with the camera. What is in the same price range but not over,
that was a very fast focus, high recycle rate and atleast 7 ...
SD With A Twist14 Aug 2005 01:52 GMT4
For all you folks that like the fast memory cards and use SD, here's
something different.  I use mostly CF and don't care about the speed
all that much, so it doesn't matter to me, but I thought it was a
pretty cool idea and it's guaranteed not to break.  Be aware, the link
JVC GC-A5014 Aug 2005 01:42 GMT5
Anyone tried and/or got samples pictures of the JVC GC-A50 tiny 1.3
megapixels camera?
I wonder if it gives "sharper" pictures than many other  fairly cheap and
tiny cameras like this on the market. But the price of this one is higher

Fukifilm S700013 Aug 2005 23:07 GMT2
I used to own a Fujifilm MX700, which in 1999 was a bloody good camera at
1.5 mega pixels and as a point and shoot camera never failed to take an
excellent photo with brilliant colour both indoor on flash or outdoor,
(however most of the photos were of my girlfriend :-). I then ...
Need help trying to figure out how fast a CF card to buy13 Aug 2005 21:55 GMT8
I am about to purchase a Konica Minolta DiAMAGE A2 or A200. Of course
neither comes with an external storage. The 64mb internal memory can hold 2
raw frames or 3 extra fine JPG frames (8MB image). I can't find any specs
about the time it takes to transfer images from the camera ...
Nikon 70 300 AF G Lens13 Aug 2005 20:55 GMT4
I just got one of these lenses for a gift to use on my Nikon N80.  Can it be
focus manually?  My other lens has a switch on it for MA or M.  If I try to
turn the focus dial it is very hard to turn, it also seems like the AF motor
is turning when I do so.

Why my next monitor will be an LCD13 Aug 2005 18:53 GMT1
I tried an eary LCD for use with Photoshop and it was very unreliable for
judging color and contrast.
Things have changed.
Not believing what I read in magazines (PopPhoto calls the new Nikon 55-200
Help with picking a digital camera, looking for certain things13 Aug 2005 18:01 GMT3
I'm looking for a digital camera, point and shoot style, with these
features:
Fill flash always on - I don't want to have to set this every time I turn
the camera on.  I want to set this once and have it be the default.
buying a previous version of Photoshop ...13 Aug 2005 17:31 GMT12
Was wondering if there is any place where to buy
old licences of expensive software e.g. Adobe Photoshop
so I can then qualify for the upgrade licence on the
latest version ... feasible solution?

Having deliberated long and hard, I am about to buy a Nikon D70s. I have
decided to get a 1GB CF card for it. SanDisk has been recommended to me as
one of the best.
Can anyone please tell me if there is any advantage to buying "SanDisk
