We have two PC's and one dedicated phone line for internet dial up access.
We do not have access to T-1 or DSL.
Can we have both computers online simultaneously using a phone line

I'm considering buying the new Casio Exilim EX-S500 because it seems
perfect for my needs, but I read some reviews saying that picture
quality isn't that impressive.  I don't really know how to treat that

My friend owns a Nikon 995 and has the following complaint:
After she takes a picture, for a short period of time an icon shows up on
the screen.  The icon looks like the 'Out of Memory' icon.
This is not how the camera used to work when it was new.

My 4Mp P&S can record at 4 different resolutions:
2304 x 1728 (4Mp)
1600 x 1200 (~2Mp)
1280 x 960 (~1.4Mp)

Trying to use Photosuite 5 to import photos from a sony CD-350.  When
initiating transfer, it never recognizes the camera.  Anyone have

When is it most appropriate to use the Average metering mode?
I am curious because either Evaluative or Partial metering seems to be
more 'intelligent' than Average. In fact, I have never used the AM mode

i'm old world, and old school. i want the most versatile (read: manual) 6mp
camera with a pc connection, and mucho manual controls available. i'm sure
every digicamera has more bells and whistles--auto-wise--that i'l ever need.
i know the nikons have good macro functions as well, ...
