A question about Canon IS lenses.16 Aug 2005 21:02 GMT14
I am thinking of buying the 300mm f4L IS lens. I have heard that there is a
delay of up to 0.5s before the shutter fires to allow the IS system to get
up to speed. Is this true? I don't want to lose the advantage of the DSLR's
swift response.
Nikon D70 long exposure - purple blobs?16 Aug 2005 20:15 GMT16
Hey guys!  So I just recently got a D70 and took it to a summer camp for a
few weeks.  Got some great photos with it (in my opinion anyway, I'm still
very much a rank amateur...)
My brother and I tried taking some star photos, such as this one:
Error after taking photo.. Canon EOS 300D16 Aug 2005 20:06 GMT8
My friend recently aquired a Canon Digital Rebel EOS 300D, however he
says that after he takes a photo, the camera will display "Err" (with
no number after it) and it will not allow him to take another photo
until he reboots the camera. The photo saves fine to the CF card.
Digital Projection Scanning Resolution16 Aug 2005 19:10 GMT10
I would like to know if there is an "optimum" resolution that transparencies
and photos should be  scanned, in order to use the files for digital
projection.

Power Shot or Coolpix?16 Aug 2005 15:29 GMT3
I need a new digital and I've got it narrowed down to the Canon A95 or the
Nikon Coolpix 5600, or 5900.
Any suggestions?

Anyone Using a Hi-Touch PhotoShuttle dye-sub printer?16 Aug 2005 09:20 GMT1
Is anyone using a Hi-Touch PhotoShuttle dye-sub printer?  I've only come
across a few reviews on this printer and they all seem pretty good.  I don't
need a stand-alone printer since I intend to only print from PhotoShop (so
I'm guessing that the major difference between the ...
