Can anyone direct me to someone or somewhere to buy wholesale Kodak cameras? I've tried calling Kodak but after a number of hand offs I did not get anywhere. It was almost like they didn't know what I was talking about. I want to find out about becoming a dealer. I have a

| Which shop in London? | 20 Aug 2005 18:15 GMT | 3 |
Could someone recommend me a shop in London where I could find good deals on canon or sigma lenses? The are plenty of them in Tottenham Court Road but as for me they are a bit dodgy. I'm thinking rather of a shop specialized only in photo

I am going to be starting an English Literature and Film course at uni this year in September, I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a digital camera? It will primarily be used for motion capture rather than photography. I will be using it in conjunction with a laptop so ...

| Discharging New Batteries in Digital Camera | 20 Aug 2005 14:59 GMT | 14 |
I have a new Fuji F550 digital camera, and the battery installation instructions say to use the included charger to charge the NiMH batteries for their full 4 hours, and then, curiously, to turn around and discharge them in the camera once they've been charged. I did this,

| Boosting ISO versus post-processing underexposed images? | 20 Aug 2005 13:36 GMT | 10 |
I recently got a Panasonic FZ5. Great daylight camera in its niche, but sucks in low-light situations where you can't use flash. If I don't have a tripod, or I'm shooting anything but a building (i.e. any movement at all), I really need to keep shutter time to no more than

| dSLR and dust | 20 Aug 2005 08:16 GMT | 62 |
So, having agonised for weeks over whether to buy a prosumer compact or a dSLR, and then which one to go for (and do I want to get dragged into the Nikon/Canon/Pentax battles<g>) I finally decided to go dSLR. I figured the dust won't be a major issue for some time as I will only ...

| Canon Paper Yellowing | 20 Aug 2005 08:00 GMT | 15 |
The photos I've printed from my very cheap Canon i470D inkjet have been really great...but the print paper yellows terribly in just a few months. I only use the best Canon paper and original Canon cartridges. Some of my photos are put in clear plastic covers with magnets for ...

| Compact tripod comparison | 20 Aug 2005 05:15 GMT | 8 |
I'm looking for a tripod for a subcompact digital camera. The models I'm looking at are the Bogen / Manfrotto 714B, 714SHB, and 724B. I don't know much about tripods and these 3 models seem essentially the same to my eyes, but with there being a difference in price obviously. ...
