Hmm glad I just spent 600 bucks on this efs 17-85 IS...not. Should I try and dump it off asap...the value is going to go straight down the sh.tter now, no?

I have been unable (for months!!) to order the firmware upgrade for my Minolta Dimage 7, from konica's website... does anyone here happen to have it, or know where I can get it?.. my current firmware/model is a1v021u a180

Ok the pentax optio 750Z works great. Had it 1 day But it seems it does not stamp the date/time on the print Am I missing it or is that one it does not do?

I have ordered a 350d/XT body with the Canon 28-105 lens as standard. I am now getting worried that this lens will be too narrow-angle for landscape pics. 1. Should I be worried?

The problem with the APS sized SLR sensors is at 8mp, they are already taking what the average lens can give in terms of resolution unless one moves to quality prime glass. The 8mp 20D or Rebel XT has the same pixel pitch as a 20mp full frame sensor. With the 13mp 5D, actually ...

Looking at the photo's, it looks like the 5D has an IR focusing beam. If so, wouldn't your finger get in the way. Also, no built in flash. Does this mean that it is weather proof?

Is it my imagination or is the display in the electronic viewfinder, both through the little peephole and on the lcd screen, washed out and grainy? I just got the camera and am having trouble focusing with these displays (even with AF). Thanks for your comments.
