I need a digital camera recommendation, for my mother, who is 80 years

know or care about things like aperture/shutter priorities, megapixel
resolution, white balance, etc. so cameras like my Finepix S5000 are
Digital cameras that can record video at 25 fps03 Jul 2005 14:25 GMT7
is there any digital camera that can record video at 25 fps for us TV PAL

SD Cards03 Jul 2005 13:59 GMT5
I bought from internet a 256MB SD Card for my camera. Very soon it
started to require two insertions before the camera recognised it. This
number gradually increased until it would not recognise it at all. In
discussion with my dealer, it was discovered that it corrupted the

52mm exists, I was thinking I could use two step-up rings (30.5 to 43

Is your camera store Bass ackwards with Digital prints?03 Jul 2005 10:06 GMT12
Is your photofinisher this way? I can drop off a roll of 35mm film and it is
printed in about an hour at my local camera/photo store chain, but digital
files are sent off somewhere (to the location of their Fuji Frontier
printer) and have to be picked up the next day. They do ...

epson 4990 or microtek i900 ?03 Jul 2005 02:39 GMT10
With Ilford's difficulties and the interruption in availability of
ilfochrome supplies I am starting to see the writing on the wall.  I would
like to ease into the digital realm by purchasing a scanner for my 2-1/4 and
4x5 transparencies. Admittedly, I am at the very beginning of ...
