sample lense views05 Jul 2005 16:52 GMT3
Are there any recommended web sites that will show me visually, the
difference in lenses (in specs not brand) as if I had one on a camera
and I was looking thru the viewfinder?  This way I could visually
compare the different lenses.

S2 Pro, CR-123 batteries and VR lens05 Jul 2005 10:21 GMT1
For the past two years I have been getting about 600-700 frames per set of

using conventional AF, non-AFS, non-VR lenses.
In the past few weeks I have had the almost exclusive use of my newspaper's
PBase Problems05 Jul 2005 10:13 GMT25
Anyone have any info on what's up with PBase.  Tried to access them last

new any more.

FUZZY/KINKY HAIR IN DIGITAL SLR PHOTOS05 Jul 2005 08:11 GMT10
What causes the "fuzzy hair"  (it looks like some people have bad kink hair
dos) in digital camera shots?
I always thought it was pixels, but just bought a new Canon EOS 20D and a
few pictures still have it (not all, I shot about 200, and only about 2-3
Fuji S5100/5500 baaaaaaad vignetting05 Jul 2005 07:56 GMT4
I am getting really, really bad purple vignetting between areas of extreme
white and anything darker when I take photos with my newly-acquired Finepix
S5500.  Does anyone know how to combat this, or reduce it?
Many thanks
Canon S2 IS $424 at Dell05 Jul 2005 07:20 GMT11
I ordered one at that price.  They are apparently a couple of weeks out on
shipping but I'm in no hurry.
Sony DSC-H105 Jul 2005 06:22 GMT6
    Just picked one up monday.
So far, I'm impressed!  This one replaced my tired Fuji S5000
That stabilized 12X lens is really nice!  Along with the 2.5" LCD
screen for reviewing.
