Saturday, I spent from 8am until 9pm, hour off for lunch, and Sunday from 6am until 12noon (British Summer Time) working out how to handle and operate my new Canon 350D. This is a personal experience and it may not be of interest to anyone else.

| My first camera | 06 Jul 2005 03:16 GMT | 4 |
I'm getting ready to buy my first digital camera. My budget ends at $500.00 for everything I'd need. Primarily, I'd take pictures of flowers (closeups), and then grandchildren. I just read in a Forbes Mag that the Cannon elph would be my best bet for the money. Somewhere else I ...

| Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5? | 05 Jul 2005 22:31 GMT | 4 |
I am considering one of these. Usage will be general, e.g. family and friends, holidays, nothing specialised. Do like the occasional bit of macro, flowers, insects etc. The FZ5 seems to get mostly pretty good reviews. Any cameras in the same
