| Film Scanner advise needed. | 07 Jul 2005 22:24 GMT | 3 |
After quickly discovering that the "Free CD" that comes with developed prints contains very low rez scans and then being told that I can get Hi-Rez 300dpi scans for an extra $10, I am seriously thinking about a film scanner. From what I could discover, the Minolta Dimage Dual IV ...

| Sharpening artefacts and MTF of monitors? | 07 Jul 2005 09:20 GMT | 31 |
I'm trying to understand visible effects of artefacts of sharpening with different viewing conditions. Suppose I have a sharpening matrix such that I can't see artefacts on monitor (with a very good CRT monitor, VS P815). However, when I blow pixels 200%, a careful examination
