Spyder2 & PS CS2 - Color Profile Questions15 Jul 2005 22:50 GMT3
I'm a colour novice who needs help with the basics of how to use colour
profiles created with a hardware colorimeter.  I recently bought a Pantone
Colorvision Spyder2 Pro Studio.  I use the Adobe Creative Suite.  I have
dual monitors connected to an nVidia Quadro FX4400 card. The ...

Thanks.

Hi
When photographing large wedding groups. I have a problem with the faces of
some people in the group being totally in shadow.
How do I arrange my lighting not to have this problem but I still want to
Sigam 500mm f7.215 Jul 2005 21:43 GMT14
Hi, could anyone offer some advice re: the above lens used on a Pentax *istD
at the 'A' setting?
It seems to work very well (rather better than I'd hoped) but I've noticed
that the lens won't stop down fully - smallest aperture f8 instead of f7.2
Question: Artificially aging digital photos15 Jul 2005 21:13 GMT8
Hi, all.
I've been asked to do some pictures in the "1930's pin-up girl" genre.
My first instinct would be to limit my alterations to stripping out
color info, but I think it would be neat to move into sepia, and try to

My 350D arrived with the menu in, I think, Japanese.  Have others had this

Canon Ixus / Powershot infrared sensitivity15 Jul 2005 19:54 GMT1
I had until recently been using a Canon Ixus 400 for infrared
photophraphy with a Hoya R72 filter. Unfortunately the camera died last
weekend due to a water mishap.
I'm looking for a replacement and would like something with a similar
Aftermarket batteries for Panasonic DMC FZ5?15 Jul 2005 19:46 GMT4
Can anyone recommend a make that is reliable? The Panasonic ones are hugely
expensive, at least here in the UK.  If you can recommend a UK supplier as
well so much the better.
TIA
Pressure on filter with soft brush15 Jul 2005 19:25 GMT5
How much direct pressure with a soft brush can the filter take?  I
would like to use it to sort of "chip away" at some pesky dust that the
PecPads won't get.  I succeed in merely moving the bigger specs around,
while getting the small stuff.  Will the filter get scratched, or can
Epson P-2000 -What a great device!15 Jul 2005 19:24 GMT38
I just received my Epson P-2000 storage device, and WOW!
I've been using a Flashtrax device that is similar in many respects...with a
large color screen, etc., but I've always been disppointed with the TERRIBLE
image rendition it produces.  My original hope with the Flashtrax was ...
Candid Photos of Other's Kids on Internet15 Jul 2005 19:17 GMT28
I think I know the answer, and I surely know how some persons are going to
clamor in on this. I am simply wanting clarification: if I take a candid of
another's child and post it to a website like Pbase, as long as it's not
pornographic or libelous in nature etc, do I not have ...
